Tenderers are required to have satisfactory financial implementation ability. The size of the turnover, seen in relation to the contract value, can be emphasised.
Statsbygg will carry out a credit rating of tenderers.
Tenderers can, in addition, be asked to submit the auditor confirmed annual accounts, alternatively, state StartBANK ID.
Tenderers must have sufficient experience as the architect in construction projects.
Each company must deliver a description of approx. one A4 page per project of up to three reference projects during the last 10 years with a comparable value, with information about i.a.
— the project name,
— contracting authority,
— the project size in m
— type of building, including whether it is new construction or renovation works,
— the assignment's contract value excluding VAT,
— the company's assignments/role in the project,
— in what phases the assignment was carried out.
The start-up date and completion date (year)/if not completed — what stage the project is in.
Tenderers are required to have a legally established company.
Company registration certificate, foreign companies are required to have a corresponding certificate as prescribed by the laws of the country where the company is registered.

Utenriksdepartementet [the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] has given Statsbygg[the Directorate of Public Construction and Property] the task of preparing tender documents for the construction of the new Norwegian embassy site in Nairobi, Kenya. The site will contain offices for the embassy, three residences for delegates, recreation areas, guard house, technical spaces and parking for employees and visitors. The gross floor area for the new site is approx. 2 575 m
Currently, funding has only been allocated for detailed design work until the contractor has obtained tender offers. Follow-up in the construction and warranty phase depends on our contracting authority deciding to proceed and the allocation of funds. For this reason, execution of the last named phases shall be options for the Directorate of Public Construction and Property.
