Lab 12:

This lab is a skeleton/injury lab that is used for orthopaedic skeleton examinations of adults, children and newborns. Typical examinations will be: pelvis, hips (inserted) and thorax/abdomen/spine. The lab must take care of bed-ridden, injured/emergency and wheelchair patients. It must be possible to take images standing, sitting, lying on a table and in bed. It is also desirable to take images of the small areas of the skeleton, for example, such as hands/wrists and feet/ankles.

Lab 13:

Radiography laboratory that will be used for orthopaedic skeleton examinations of adults,

Children and newborns. Typical examinations will be knees, shoulders, spine, pelvis, hip and abdomen. It must be possible to take images standing, sitting and lying on tables. This lab will function as backup for intervention examinations within urology and gastrointerology. Tenderers are encouraged to offer alternative solutions to take hip (inserted), thorax, small areas of the skeleton, bed imaging and wheelchair patients.

Transportable x-ray apparatus:

This apparatus will be used for bed and stretcher patients. Used in trauma reception, intensive care and neonatal intensive care. Images will primarily be taken of adult/child/newborn thorax, pelvis and small parts of the skeleton. The apparatus is intended to complement a lab, (primarily lab 13), and provide the opportunity for inserted images such as hips, knees, back and preferably standing thorax.
