Tender description

The appointed consultants can expect to be requested to provide services for a range of projects including:

— alterations, installations, reconfiguration, re-positioning and refurbishment associated with new occupation and upgrade of facilities,

— adaptations and extensions of existing buildings,

— maintenance works,

— new build works (including demolition of existing buildings).

The University is seeking to appoint a ranked framework with 2 x suppliers.

Legal, economic, financial and technical information

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required

ESPD Question 4B1.1 (Minimum standards) Turnover should be up to twice the estimated contract value over each of the past 2 financial years. However, the client reserves the right to review and consider all supporting financial information in this regards.

Please refer to question within 4B.5 of the ESPD and economic and financial standing section of the contract notice.

Bidders must confirm they can provide the following supporting evidence prior to award:

Employer's (compulsory) liability insurance = 5 000 000 GBP;

Public liability insurance = 5 000 000 GBP;

Professional liability insurance = 2 000 000 GBP.

The successful contractor will be required to provide 2 years audited accounts or equivalent if awarded the contract.
