United Kingdom : Cardiff - Asbestos-removal work
The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (C&V UHB) are looking to implement a framework arrangement with asbestos service contractors.
Typical works to be carried out will be:
— removal of 120 m
of vinyl tiles,
— removal of ACM’s from a typical ward area (vinyl tiles, cement header panels, textile products, encapsulation of AIB shuttering and localised decontamination of risers),
— community site boiler plant room asbestos remediation,
— removal of sprayed coating debris from a ceiling void in a lab (70 m
) under fully controlled conditions,
— asbestos remediation removing thermal insulation debris from an underground plant room and, duct network under fully controlled conditions. Work completed under confined space protocol. Also included several other small enclosures.
